Since polymer solution has big molecular weight,high viscosity and strong cross-linked property,underground fluid property and reservoir property would change with the injection of polymer solution..This phenomenon leads to stronger reservoir heterogeneity,resulting in more complex problems in oilfield production.Firstly,existing problems and adjustment measures of polymer flooding in different oil fields through literature research is studied.Secondly,dynamic analysis and effect evaluation in S-? oilfield are used to study what problems exist in S-? oilfield.There are three main problems analyzed as follows.Long term injection of polymer solution causes higher percolation resistance and decreased liquid production rate;Long term water flooding and polymer flooding causes occurrence of polymer breakthrough in high permeability zone,leading to the increase of polymer production concentration in production well and the decrease of oil production rate;Water cut of production well increases and oil production rate decreases because of interference of many water injection wells and polymer injection wells in S-? oilfield.In this paper,numerical simulation is used to select optimum time and extent of increasing liquid production to resolve the problem of decreasing liquid production.Laboratory study is used to develop profile control agent to solve the problem of polymer breakthrough.Dynamic analysis is used to do feasibility analysis of water injection well changing to be polymer injection well.
