Oligosaccharides and glycoconjugates obained by chemical synthesis mainly play import.ant roles in numerous biological processes, which made them very popular synthetic targets in modern synthetic chemistry.Building the glycosidic bond is the foundation of the synthesis of oligosaccharide and glycosylation.Various donor and donor-activation methods were developed, making the glycosylation flourishing.Recently, rapid development of photo-initiated reactions, which hold the extraordinary potential in sustainable chemistry and organic synthesis, gives us many solutions and inspirations in glycosylation reactions. The main work in this thesis involves some novel light-driven strategies for O-glycosylation.We develop a light-driven strategy for the activation of O-glycosides via the merger of a CF3 radical pathway followed by the subsequent glycosylation with glycosyl acceptors. This protocol could activate a glycosyl donor regardless of its redox potential with moderate yield under mild conditions. It is wort.h mentioning that the reaction is also applicable to carbohydrate acceptor and amino acid acceptor, and some substrate with a single configuration. We can get some substrates with a single configuration. And this strategy is applied to build C-N bonds successfully.
