In order to understand the typical petrochemical city in Dushanzi District,Karamay City,Xinjiang,we first study the pollution of heavy metals in the soil, including pollution characteristics, pollution sources and pollution evaluation. In this study,we selected a chemical worker's surrounding soil as the research object,Statistical analysis and spatial interpolation are combined to analyze the results of point source pollution.(1)In the horizontal direction, the distribution of Cu,Pb and Zn in 0~10 cm soil layer is basically the same, and the distribution rules of Cr,V and Ti are similar, and the distribution rules of other elements are different. The distribution of Cu and Pb in 10~20 cm soil layer is basically the same, and the distribution of Ni,V and Ti is almost the same, and the distribution of other elements is different. The distribution of Zn and Pb in 20~30 cm soil layer is similar, and the distribution of Ba element is similar to that of Zn and Pb.The distribution of Cr and Cu is about the same, and the distribution of Ni,V and Ti is about the same.(2)In the horizontal direction, the contents of As,Zn,Cu,Pb,Cr,Ti and V in the nine heavy metals were measured in the eight directions with the increase of the sampling distance from the chemical plant and reduced, showing a chemical plant as a point source of pollution trends.Which as elements of the chemical plant as the center was the island-like distribution pattern.(3)In the vertical direction,Cu,V,Ti,Cr and Ni are almost indistinguishable in the vertical direction, and the distribution of Zn,Pb and Cu in the vertical direction is very similar. As,Ba,Ti and Cr,the higher content of these elements there is a downward migration and accumulation of the phenomenon.(4)The results of correlation analysis and principal component analysis showed that the contents of As,Pb,Zn and Cu in 0~10 cm soil layer had homology,Cr,V and Ti had homology, and Ni and Ba had homology The 10,20 cm,20~30 cm soil layer Pb and Ba,Ni,Ti and V have homology.(5)Nemero index results show that: 9,heavy metals such as As,Pb,Zn,Cu,Cr,Ni,V,Ti and Ba are polluted,in which Ti is in moderate pollution and Ba is heavily polluted.Elements are in light pollution. The results show that the Cr element in the 0~10 cm soil layer is in the mild pollution degree, the Ti element is in the extremely strong pollution degree, the other elements are in the pollution-free level;10~20 cm soil layer and 20~30 Cm in the soil layer of Cr and Cu in a mild degree of pollution Ti element in the level of extreme pollution, other elements are at pollution-free level. The potential ecological risk assessment of the five kinds of heavy metals such as As,Pb,Zn,Cu and Cr is low and the ecological risk is low.(6)The SOM arrows in the 0~10 cm soil layer were the longest,so the effect of organic matter on the heavy metal elements was the highest in the soil layer, followed by the soil pH value and K 10~20 cm and 20~30 cm soil layer, the environmental factors PH value and K arrow the longest,so the soil PH value and K content of heavy metal elements of the greatest impact, followed by soil Ca.
