The polyolefin materials were studied in this paper is high-density polyethy lene(HDPE),Trans-1,4-polyisoprene(TPI)elastomer was used as the toughening agent of HDPE.HDPE/TPI alloy materials were prepared by mechanical blendi ng and dynamic vulcanization,to improve the toughness of HDPE.Through the mechanical properties,thermal properties and microstructure phase diagram and other tests,the optimum ratio of HDPE and TPI was selected.On the basis of the above results,using three nanomaterials: nano-MMT,nano-CaCO3,nano-Si O2 to enhance the mechanical properties and heat resistance of HDPE/TPI alloy materials.The results show that: 1.HDPE/TPI alloy materials had higher impa ct strength when the ratio of HDPE and TPI was 95/5,the toughness of alloy materials were better,and the impact strength of HDPE was increased from 32.5 kJ/m2 to 51.1kJ/m2,other mechanical properties and heat resistance change un obviously.When the ratio of HDPE/TPI was 95/5,sulfur was 3 phr and the ac celerator of CZ was 1 phr,the impact strength of HDPE/TPI dynamic vulcanize d alloy materials reached 52.8KJ/m2,when the requirements of the toughness of HDPE is not high,through simple mechanical blending can improve the tough ness of HDPE obviously,in addition,the formula of mechanical blending is si mple can increase the efficiency of production and reduce production costs.Wh en the ratio of HDPE/TPI is 95/5,the mechanical properties and heat resistance of HDPE/TPI alloy materials can be enhanced obviously by adding 3% ~ 5% of nanomaterials,the effect of nano-MMT and nano-CaCO3 were better.
