Low molecular organogels have great potential in the field of new functional materials and have become the research hotspot in recent years.On the basis of our previous studies,different types of low molecular organogelators were designed and synthesized,which aimed to provide references for the design and synthesis of gelators and the choice of solvents in the gel applications.Specific experimental work is divided into the following three aspects: 1.The synthesis and properties of pyridine diamide derivatives.By using the pyridine diamide as the rigid center and alkoxy phenyl as the flexible side chain,the pyridine derivatives containing different side chains were synthesized.The gel properties and the extent which the number of side chains influence gelation ability were tested.The driving forces for gelation were studied by UV and IR.The microstructures of gels were observed and analysized by SEM.Anionic response experiment was studied by F-,Cl-,Br-,I-.The characteristics of interactions between the gelators and solvents were analyzed by Teas plot.2.The synthesis and properties of 3,6-dimethyl-2,5-pyrazine derivatives with the end of side chains containing hydroxyl groups.On the basis of the research of 3,6-dimethyl-2,5-pyrazine derivatives,3,6-dimethyl-2,5-pyrazine derivative which the end of side chains containing hydroxyl group was designed and synthesized.Gelation tests showed that the critical gel concentration was too high,the compound has a poor gelation performance.Therefore,we does not do more in-depth study of this series of compounds.3.The synthesis and properties of aromatic alcohol derivatives.In order to study the solvent effect s of gelators which have intermolecular hydrogen bonds,series of aromatic alcohol compounds containing long alkyl chains were designed and synthesized.The gel properties were tested.The driving force of the series of gelators were studied by the 1H NMR with variant concentrations and IR.Solvent effects of gels were focused studied by Teas plot and Kamlet-Taft parameters.
