Hot Isostatic Pressing(HIP)is an advanced sintering process method for forming high density semifinished products(or parts)by applying the uniform isostatic pressure to the powder or the billet(or part)to be sintered in a airtight pressure vessel filling with high pressure argon(or nitrogen).HIP technology is widely used in aviation,aerospace,ship,weapons,nuclear industry and other military fields for manufacturing key parts of aircraft,spacecraft,large launch vehicles,missiles,radar,etc.Moreover,the common-used working temperature of HIP is from 1000 ?to 1800?,while the working pressure is between 100 and 200 MPa.HIP has been keeping creating miracles in the various fields since half a century ago,and it is widely used from the previous laboratory technology research to the current penetration of all fields.In the western developed countries,in order to improve the product density and eliminate material defects,the HIP treatment technology is an obligatory measure in titanium alloy and high temperature alloy parts of aviation engine technology.With the continuous develop of HIP technology,the hot isostatic press is desgining towards large-scale volume to shorten the processing cycle and reduce costs.As another technology to accomplish the target,the Uniform Rapid Cooling(URC)technology of hot isostatic press can reduce the HIP processing time significantly because of cooling time was usually reduced by 80% to 95%;meanwhile the the HIP processing costs are about 60% of that in 20 years ago,which promotes its application and development.According to the domestic demand of HIP technology and combine with the technical specifications of typical hot isostatic press,the main application aims are in the casting densification process of high temperature alloy and near net shaping of powder-aerospace field.Therefore,the RDJ1250 / 2000-200.1400 type hot isostatic press was determined to research with a target that URC rate is greater than 30 ? / min.This is also the typical device equipped URC system mostly for high-temperature alloy densification in international and is convenient to to the comparison of experiment data.In this paper,basing on the simulation and analysis functions of the hot fluid system of Flowmaster software,the mathematical models(including static and dynamic model)were established and the formula was deduced according to the technical index,the principle of uniform cooling of the hydrothermal compressor and the three-dimensional model.The cooling process was described to provide theoretical basis of cooling system design and the mathematical model was corrected by numerical and experimental analysis to improve the computational accuracy.In this thesis,the URC three-dimensional solid model of hot isostatic press was established by Solid Edge V19 firstly,and then the numerical simulation model of hot isostatic pressing furnace in non-steady state was established in STAR-CCM + software as the main analysis tool.Lastly,the temperature field and flow field were analyzed in theory and the heat transfer law of the furnace under different heating powers was studied.
