Research On Color Identification Of Uniform Design

As China's modern business system continually develops and many scale enterprises constantly springs up,corporate image has attracted more and more attention.Corporate image as invisible wealth is one of key factors which can affect the competitiveness of enterprises.So far many enterprises mostly use advertising to show their corporate image,but they ignore the other important part of corporate image which is uniform.Many enterprises still thinks that uniform is just as a representation of employee's order;however,uniform as an important part of corporate image has other functions such as transmitting corporate culture to customer,improving recognition degree of corporate and enhancing the brand value of enterprises.Uniform's visual identity system includes style,color,shape and so on.Moreover,color as the core element of visual identity system is one of most effective elements of recognition.Based on the elements of uniform design and the use rules of color,this article through combining theory and practice studies elements of recognition of color.In this article,the color of uniform is divided to industry traditional color and enterprise individuality color.Moreover,by using many research methods such as literature research method,market research method,subject cross reference method,experimental research method and questionnaire survey method,this article discusses the influence of industry color and enterprise color in uniform design and designs 20 uniform's color schemes for seven different kinds of enterprises.Through 50 samples of eye tracker experiments and 50 samples of survey questionnaires,the effectiveness of these schemes were proved and the influence of color was also testified.Through research,this article draws the conclusion as follows: First,it classifies and analyses the influence of uniform's color to the element of recognition.The elements of recognition of uniform's color are divided to two types.One is related to industry color,and the other is related to enterprise color.This article analyses the color selection and industry point of each element,and than proposes feasible suggestions to the design of uniform's color.Second,it presents the way to enhance the recognition degree of uniform's color by using the color recognition factor.Through the result of eye tracker experiments and of survey questionnaires,it is proved that the recognition degree of uniform's color can be enhanced by adding the color recognition factors such as corporate culture,product range,national culture,regional culture and time factor to the design of uniform's color.Third,it discusses the use of color recognition factor and tests its feasibility in the design of uniform.
