The main effect of compressed air in hot rolling mill is offer air for instruments and electrical equipment.Compressed air station composes of air compressors,air tanks,air purifiers and drain system.The successive and stable running of compressed air is the guarantee for production.It is also the heart of energy and equipment management.Compressed air system is one of the most power used sources in modern industry.And how to improve the efficiency of compressed air is very important task that company should take care and explore.This thesis mainly through the comparative analysis of compressor types,comparing their advantages and disadvantages and providing the energy saving spaces.This thesis studies the saving powers of 1880mm and 1580mm compressed air stations,providing the problems and potential for the two stations running independently.This thesis combined the characteristics of the process running in hot rolling compressed air station.Designing the energy saving running mode application in the station,which works round the following aspects:1)1880mm and 1580mm compressed air stations are running independently before study,providing compressed air for their own mill,which is good for the steady for the producing.Besides,1880mm and 1580mm hot rolling mill is not so far,it is not more than 800meters away.It is also a large waste for the two station running separated and provides air for themselves.How to links the two stations is very important,which can make compressed air to be used together and achieve the aim of saving powers.This thesis through the study and analysis of linking and put it into use in production.And it also gathers the data to analysis and makes successful in plant.2)This thesis through the study and analysis of drain system,applying new technology instead of the old one,which can use the air to the plant directly and saves the compressed air about 30%.3)Besides the dry system,modify the drain of water system,change the mode of open valve by using the auto control of by water level,which will also save the air.4)This thesis designs the control system for the compressors and dryer,which satisfied the function of spot.It can be operated on the computer and alarms effectively.5)This thesis is also show the application in the spot,which makes the feasibility and availability of the methods.
