The acute toxicities of 1,3-dibromo-5,5-dimethylhydantoin and povidone-iodine on juvenile GIFT strain Nile tilapia(Oreochromis niloticus),1,2-dichlorobenzene,N,N-dimethylaniline,2,4-dimethoxyaniline and 2-methoxy-6-methylaniline on zebrafish(Danio rerio)were tested using static bioassay tests.The results were as follows:(1)The concentration value of 24 h LC50,48 h LC50,72 h LC50 and 96 h LC50 for 1,3-dibromo-5,5-dimethylhydantoin were 4.39 mg/L,4.37 mg/L,3.98 mg/L and 3.80 mg/L respectively,while the value of the safe concentration was 0.38 mg/L.24 h LC50,48 h LC50,72 h LC50 and 96 h LC50 for povidone-iodine concentrations were 9.71 mg/L,9.31 mg/L,8.43 mg/L and 7.95 mg/L respectively,meanwhile its safe concentration was recorded as 0.80 mg/L.The findings suggested that both of these two fishery drugs are highly toxic compounds.Results showed the juvenile GIFT strain Nile tilapia was more sensitive to 1,3-dibromo-5,5-dimethylhydantoin compared to povidone-iodine.The present study suggested that 1,3_dibromo-5,5-dimethylhydantoin and povidone-iodine could be used safely in fish production.(2)The concentration value of 24 h LC50,48 h LC50,72 h LC50 and 96 h LC50 for 1,2-dichlorobenzene were 60.87 mg/L,14.00 mg/L,7.58 mg/L and 5.13 mg/L respectively,while the value of the safe concentration was 0.51 mg/L.The findings suggested that 1,2-dichlorobenzene was highly toxic compound,which need to be caused enough attention with high risk.(3)The concentration value of 24 h LC50,48 h LC50,72 h LC50 and 96 h LC50 for N,N-dimethylaniline were 83.90 mg/L,77.50 mg/L,73.10 mg/L and 66.08 mg/L respectively,while the value of the safe concentration was 6.61 mg/L.The concentration value of 24 h LC50 48 h LC50,72 h LC50 and 96 h LC50 for 2,4-dimethoxyaniline were 161.70 mg/L,165.04 mg/L,158.65 mg/L and 146.15 mg/L respectively,while the value of the safe concentration was 14.61 mg/L.The concentration value of 24 h LC50,48 h LC50 72 h LC50 and 96 h LC50 for 2-methoxy-6-methylaniline were 91.77 mg/L,88.96 mg/L,84.20 mg/L and 76.82 mg/L respectively,while the value of the safe concentration was 7.68 mg/L.The findings suggested that N,N-dimethylaniline and 2-methoxy-6-methylaniline were medium toxic compounds,while 2,4-dimethoxyaniline was lowly toxic.
