Aliphatic amine is often used as the organic chemical industry intermediates.It is one kind of very important organic chemical raw material.Various methods for the synthesis of fatty amine are reported in literatures.Each method has its own characteristics.The amination reaction of hydroxyl compounds to produce the corresponding amines is one of optima methods,because the reaction materials are easy and cheap to obtain and less pollution in the reaction process.Therefore,we study on this amination production process has important significance.In this paper,n-octyl alcohol amination to produce octylamine by one-step method ii investigated.Various catalysts for n-octyl alcohol amination are studied on a fixed bed reactor.The results are necessary theoretical data for the industrial production of alcohol hydroxyl compounds amination.In this study,various catalysts for amination of fatty alcohols are prepared.They are applied in n-octyl alcohol amination to n-octyl amine.The results show that activated alumina as carrier and Cu/Cr as active component is a optimal amination catalyst.The catalysts are characterized by means of SEM,TPR.The results show that copper catalysts based on introducing other additives Cr can greatly improve the catalytic performance.Cr additives can improve the activity and stability by changing copper of the structure,distribution and dispersion.It also modify interaction between copper and carrier.Reaction conditions are investigated,and the optimal reaction conditions,are obtained.and other catalysts.And this new synthetic method has mild production conditions and simple preparation process.The selectivity of n-octyl amine is 73%under conditions of reaction temperature 170?,LHSV of octanol 0.6h-1,H2 GHSV 240h-1,and ratio of ammonia to alcohol 10.4:1.
