Mineral resources are indispensable to provide for the survival of the human material resources industry, the development of mineral resources for China's industrialization, urbanization and modernization has very special role.At the same time,However the present unreasonable exploitation of mineral resources in the waste of mine resources and the engrossment to land resource. Also can result the plant are destroyed caused ecological deterioration, environment pollution,geological disasters and various environmental problems. Therefore, the effective monitoring and evaluation of the province's mineral resources development activities, not only for the sustainable development of mine, is important, but also on the improvement of the mine environment and reduce the loss caused by mining are crucial. This paper is based on the high resolution remote sensing application project in Henan Province mineral exploration and development activities, which is called Henan Provincial Department about mining rights fees and research project fees(project number:201262232). Meanwhile, it selects Jiyuan as the study area, using multi-stage high resolution satellite data and a variety of remote sensing method about enhancing the quality of image, extracting information of the areas automatically and achieves the following results:1?This paper obtained the latest three years mineral resources prospecting and exploitation situation of Jiyuan, By Using indoor interpretation and Field on-the-spot verification technology, based on the multi-source and multi-temporal remote sensing data(including satellite remote sensing data and aerial remote sensing data), together with the present situation and mineral resources planning data of Jiyuan. This method can be useful to the province's mineral resources prospecting and exploitation activities comprehensive monitoring and mineral law enforcement inspection work.2?The study area of mineral exploration right, mining right data is superimposed on the ground directly in the remote sensing image. To extract information from the Jiyuan study area and field survey, we analyse the mining unknown remote sensing image in the way of the European classification of minimum distance classification with supervised classification, meanwhile quantitative evaluation of its imaging features, combined with the discriminate function to determine the unknown image patches and mining activities.3 ? we use the cluster analysis of the Q-type classification to quantify the assignment and function of rating factor involved, then classification analysis of the mineral resources and mining activities related to image maps were involved in spot. The method of qualitative analysis of the traditional human-computer interactive interpretation system solutions and use clustering classification of Q type analysis of the research objects were classified quantitative analysis method of combining, jointly established the research area of high resolution remote sensing image interpretation marks of prospecting and mining of mineral resources based on the library, for the future to carry out monitoring work of similar mining in a technology foundation.4?Using three issue of data, Monitoring the status of mining development covers from 2011-2013 in the area. Received from 2011 to 2013 the area about remote sensing monitoring results. Meanwhile, through comparative analysis, we can get the change results about mine development from 2011-2013.
