Triarylboranes have received attention due to their applications in the field such as chemosensors, organic light-emitting diodes (OLED) or two-photon absorbing materials. While there are just a few reports on phosphine ligand contains triarylborane units so far. And studies on coordination of triarylborane with Lewis basic organics also keep rare.Indenyl have played a significant role in the carbonyl ruthenium complexs due to the diverse and flexible hapticities and the enhanced reactivities of indenyl metal complexes compared with their cyclopentadienyl analogues in catalysis. And the Phosphorus atom of phosphines have a strong bonding ability to transition metal, many products of the reactions of Ru3(CO)12 with phosphines derived from the replace of carbonyl by phosphines, and even C-H and C-P bond cleavage. Therefore, a series of novel phosphine ligands contains triarylborane units have been synthesised and characterized; and reactions of varied indenylphosphines with Ru3(CO)12 were studied. The main details are as follows:[1] A series of novel boryl phosphine ligands 1-6 have been synthesised and characterized by 1H NMR,31P NMR?13C NMR and MS, Compound 5-6 were also characterized by X-ray crystal diffraction. Coordination of compound 3 with Lewis basic organics Bl-6 were studied, together with Job plot,1H NMR titration experiments and crystallographic analysis, the binding stoichiometry of compound 3 with B1-6 was determined, and a 2:1 (sandwich) complexe have been observed.[2] Reactions of varied indenylphosphines with Ru3(CO)12 with different reaction conditions were studied. Several carbonyl ruthenium complexs have been synthesised and characterized, and during the synthesis of compound 18, a [1,3] ? proton migration from 1- to 3- of indenyl was potentially occurred. Study results showed that the differce of the substituent and reaction conditions have a great influence on the coordination model of carbonyl ruthenium.
