Specific geographical location and climatic conditions make Xinjiang has a unique advantage of solar energy resources. In this paper, the CERES SSF satellite data are used to analyze the downward shortwave radiation flux at the surface of Xinjiang area during 2003-2015,and the temporal and spatial distribution patterns of Xinjiang in recent 13 years are obtained.First of all,the whole sky and sky under the condition of Xinjiang average downward shortwave radiation spatial distribution characteristics and seasonal distribution characteristics were analyzed;then a detailed discussion on the annual variation of all sky under the condition of Xinjiang's downward shortwave radiation and interannual variation, and discusses the distribution of average space 13 years trend and years of Xinjiang the downward shortwave radiation, error of CERES SSF satellite data and ground data were compared and analyzed;finally the terrain characteristics of the "three mountains and two basin",selected five regions of the downward shortwave radiation distribution in depth research, provide scientific basis for future research in Xinjiang area and even the national climate change and the development of solar energy for the Xinjiang area, the rational use of solar energy resources to lay the foundation. The main conclusions are as follows:From the distribution of Xinjiang 13 years average downward shortwave radiation flux of the space, all sky condition presents from the southeast to the Northwest with the latitude increased regularly and gradually reduced, from spring to winter, the downward shortwave radiation gradually by meridional distribution to the zonal distribution of change;and the clear sky condition, space the distribution of the main show from the south to the north with the latitude increased and gradually reduced, the downward shortwave radiation throughout the year showed obvious zonal distribution.Due to the influence of the cloud, the downward shortwave radiation flux is lower than that in the clear sky. From the point of view of Xinjiang region 13 years average downward shortwave radiation flux time distribution,Xinjiang average monthly ground receiving downward shortwave radiation overall showed a single peak trend, close to normal distribution, the maximum in June.During the five periods of radiation, the radiation flux was the largest at the maximum of 13,and then decreased in the order of 14,15,16 and 17.The mean value of summer was the largest in summer, the second in spring and autumn, and the lowest in winter.Under the whole sky,the downward shortwave radiation data based on CERES SSF has a good linear correlation with ground data, and the linear correlation coefficient R is 0.82-0.93.The average relative error is 20.89%.In the "three mountains and two basins" of the partition of the average value of radiation from small to large in the order of the Altai mountains,Junggar basin,Tianshan Mountains,Tarim Basin and Kunlun mountains. From the 13 year downward trend of short wave radiation in Xinjiang area, the downward shortwave radiation showed a downward trend. In the seasonal variation trend, the downward shortwave radiation flux in spring showed an increasing trend, while the other seasons showed a decreasing trend.Among them, the downward trend of winter downward shortwave radiation tends to decrease, while the trend of downward shortwave radiation decreases in summer.
