Study on rock erosion rate has been an important topic in academic circles,it controls the evolution of surface morphology,it is important to study the relationship between the response of surface evolution and climate change.Xinjiang's Taishan Kanas valley glacier landform is obvious,its importance is self-evident.With the study of the deep basin glacial chronology,graduate Cosmogenic Nuclide method of Quaternary glaciers in the region by in situ geochronology will be gradually increased.The erosion rate is an important factor affecting the accuracy of the method of dating,it is necessary to Kanas valley surface rock erosion rate were measured in order to determine the erosion rate for years effect of accuracy,to evaluate the dating results.In addition,through the determination of Kanas valley surface rock erosion rate to fill the gaps in the rock erosion rate of Kanas basin,not only conducive to the study of Kanas landform evolution,but also for other ice zone rock erosion rate determination has certain guiding significance and reference value.This article applies in situ Cosmogenic Nuclides method,erosion rate of 13 samples collected from the Kanas River Valley is calculated using a online calculator,estimate the average erosion rate of Kanas valley surface rocks.Using the formula method to calculate the distribution on the Tibetan Plateau nearly 2000 10 Be in the data in the 475 selected rock erosion rate.On the basis of the erosion rate of surface rocks in Kanas Valley,combined with the Qinghai Tibet Plateau rock erosion rate to explore Kanas valley surface rock erosion and the effect of rock erosion rate factors.The results show that the influencing factors of Kanas valley surface rock erosion rate can be divided into two kinds,one is external factors,another is internal factors.Resaults showing that Kanas valley surface rock erosion distribution in the range between 3.71±0.34~82.73±7.32mm/ka,the average erosion rate of surface rock is 25.44±1.86mm/ka,comparing with the Qinghai Tibet plateau inside the mountain,that precipitation is not the dominant factor that control the erosion rate of surface rocks in Kanas valley,combined with the change of tectonic activity in Kanas Valley,the dominant factor controlling the erosion rate of surface rocks in Kanas valley should be tectonic movement,the lithology has an influence on the rock erosion rate.It is necessary to study the influence of different lithology on the erosion rateThe internal factors influencing the erosion rate of the surface rocks in the Kanas valley are complex,involving the parameter calculation process including exposure age(or concentration of 10 Be and 10 Be production rate),decay constant,rock density,average free path absorption(attenuation length).The surface rocks exposure age(or radionuclide concentration)has the greatest influence on the calculation of erosion rate,the decay constant has the least influence on the calculation of erosion rate.Analyzing the internal factors that effects the erosion rate is helpful for us to promote the application of TCN technology,will also promote the development of TCN technology in a certain extent.
