Study On The Wild Plants Collected And Medicinal Used By The Folk Healers In Heshigten Banner Of Inner Mongolia

Four folk healers provide 40 medications what their own prescription and 165 kinds of drugs,there are 83 kinds of those drugs purchased from outside,accounting for 50.3%,and 82 kinds of drugs collected by their own are accounting for 49.7%.The drugs were named by the Mongolian and Tibetan medicinal.The knowledge about uses of medicinal plants what Heshigten Banner folk healers possess including the selection of medicinal plants and medicinal part,methods for preparing medicine and understanding of adaptation disease and functuion.A total of 72 species and 2 varieties of medicinal plants collected from the local by four folk healers;among the medicinal parts used of medicinal plants utilized by Heshigten folk healers,the entire grass category are the most,followed by flower,roots and rhizome,the category of stems are not common.They has the detailed understanding about distinguish adaptation disease or functions of medicinal wild plants.But often can not clearly distinguish between them.Four folk healers offered adaptation disease and function of 42 species,offered the information about adaptation disease of 15 species,function of 17 species.The majority of folk medicine used by Heshigten Banner folk healers belonged to the herbal medicine.The manners of using medicinal plants,such as similar to processing,formulation,dosage from and medication methods,were simply and easy to use.In this paper,the composition of medicinal plants was analyzed,an d the similarity of the similarity of medicinal plants species what four f olk healers used was calculated by the method of Sorenson Similarity In dex.74 species of wild medicinal plants Heshigten Banner,which are use d by four folk healers,are 70 species are recorded in Mongolia medicin e,73 species were recorded in Chinese herbal medicine,35 were recorded in the “Chinese Pharmacopoeia”,59 were recorded in the “Mongolia n medicine roll of Chinese Materia Medica”,35 were recorded in the “Drug Notes of plants in Inner Mongolia”.There are 34 kinds of plants which are recorded in the“ Pharmacopoeia of People's Republic of Chin a”,Mongolian medicine and Chinese herbal medicine in the whole speci es.It can be seen that there is high consistency between the folk plants used by Heshigten Banner folk healers and Mongolia medicine nor Chin ese herbs.among the medicinal plants utilized by Heshigten folk healers,Such as Thymus serpyllum,Asparagus dauricus,Polygonum aviculare,O robanche coerulescens thous 4 species plants of recorded neither in Mon golia medicine and Thalictrum petaloideum recorded neither in Chinese herbs.These plants provide clues for developing new drugs based on tra ditional medicines.
