After China economic reform, manufacturing industry is the economic bedrock of this nation. An estimated 20% exported products were shipped from China. By the rapid of national economy growth, electronics manufacturing industrial is developing as well, has become to the largest export country over the world. Surging labor cost and fierce price competition makes traditional enterprise are confused with current status since original benefit from demographic dividend and labor-intensive business mode is running out. The equipment manufacturing service is also evolving into proving one-stop service which includes design、manufacturing and service. Foxconn and BYD are seeking another way to extend the products in vertical integration, enter into component level marketing. Furthermore, the electronics manufacturing service is in the dilemma that the US manufacturing re-shoring and some company transfer their manufacturing departments to other Asia countries such as Vietnam. Enterprises is considering how to survive and develop in the profit sharp drop and fierce industrial competition. Under the circumstances, this thesis is to clarify the external and internal environment status of BYD Electronics, to analyze the strength、weakness、 opportunities and threats, finally find out proper development strategy by the SWOT.The thesis consists with six sections, the first part is to narrate the theory and analysis tools of strategy management. The second part is to analyze the general environment and industrial competitive environment, to find out key factors of opportunity and threats. The third part is to analysis BYD Electronics internal functional abilities、value chain and core competence. The fourth part is to use SWOT tools for alternative strategies analysis. The fifth part is to select the most attractive and proper strategy depends on QSPM analysis tool. The last part is to elaborate on the strategy implementation plan and supporting measurements.Expecting that BYD Electronics and other IT EMS companies can be benefit from the research conclusions of strategic management analysis thesis.
