Over the years, with the rapid development of IT, various types of enterprises put large amount of resources into the informatization construction, and the success or failure of the informatization construction plays a crucial role in promoting the level of enterprise, so many enterprises and scholars devote more and more energy to the problem of performance evaluation of informatization. At present, scholars at home and abroad have a large number of studies on the performance evaluation of enterprise informatization, while after literature review it is believed that more improvements can be expected. For instance, most of the evaluation models are concept-based and lack practicality; index establishment and evaluation angle are one-sided; the evaluation focuses on the results while neglects influence of initial stage and implementation stage of informatization construction on informatization performance. Enterprise informatization construction typically includes the formulation of IT project, the development of IT project, the operation of information system etc., so enterprise informatization performance evaluation should be applied to the whole process of enterprise informatization construction and application.Against that background, using the experience of previous studies for reference, tries to help improve the enterprise informatization performance evaluation programs so as to address existing deficiencies. First, according to the enterprise informatization construction process, enterprise informatization performance evaluation will be divided into three stages, namely the planning and organizational, the construction and the operation phase. Then, the thesis seeks to develop a more excellent evaluation index system for every evaluation stage from the perspective of various evaluators on the basis of Program of Enterprise Informatization Index Constitution (trial) issued by the National Informatization Evaluation Center as well as of existing literature, so the informatization performance evaluation could take into account the views of diversified stakeholders. In addition, for each stage, the multivariate and multidimensional extension evaluation model will be built based on formal modeling of extension. Extension weight method will be adopted in the model and evaluation indexes will be endowed with weights; this dynamic empowerment method could have practical applications since it takes a full consideration of the variability of variable indexes. Then on the basis of the model, the extension estimation method will be selected for the evaluation, precisely evaluating grade for various indexes through the dependent function. After finishing evaluation for each stage, an overall process multivariate and multidimensional extension model for enterprise informatization performance evaluation will be set up in order to conduct comprehensive performance evaluation for whole process of enterprise informatization construction and then to acquire a comprehensive performance value. Last, an company is taken as an example, to verify the availability and practicality of multidimensional extension evaluation model and extension optimization estimation method in the multi-view and lifecycle evaluation of enterprise informatization performance.
