Research On The Relationship Among Entrepreneurial Team Faultlines,innovation Capability And International Entrepreneurial Performance

With the advent of the era of entrepreneurship, international entrepreneurship has also become the focus of scholars. Innovation capability as an important way to gain competitive advantage has drawn attention. Entrepreneurial team faultlines has a significant impact on innovation capability and business performance. Traditional research on team faultlines focus on the demographic characteristics of individual team members,ignoring the joint effects of demographic characteristics. The theory of team faultlines show that multiple characteristics in a team will produce the faultlines,splitting the team into several subgroups. As a large body of research show, if we research on the operation process of the team only, we will lack a deep understanding on the relationship among the entrepreneurial team faultlines, innovation capability and international entrepreneurial performance. Therefore, the paper baesd on the intermediary role of innovation capability, further analyze the relationship between different types of faultlines and international entrepreneurial performance.Firstly, based on relevant theories, the paper defines the dimensions of entrepreneurial team faultlines, innovation capability and international entrepreneurial performance. The entrepreneurial team faultlines is divided into task-related faultlines and bio-demographic faultlines, international entrepreneurial performance is measured by financial performance and non-financial performance. On the basis review of the relationship among the entrepreneurial team faultlines, innovation capability and international entrepreneurial performance. We put forward fourteen hypotheses and establish the theoretical model. Secondly, we use the questionnaire to collect data, then using the SPSS20.0 statistical software to test the reliability and validity of the questionnaire and making correlation analysis and regression analysis to verify the hypotheses and research model proposed. Finally, summarizing the conclusions and the problems, then pointing out the direction for future research.
