Equipment manufacturing industry is the basic industries to meet the development needs of the various sectors of the national economy manufacturing all kinds of technical equipment, it has an important strategic position in the development of our national economy. Although China has entered the ranks of the world’s equipment manufacturing country, but the big but not strong, the weakness of independent innovation capability and other issues are still outstanding. Based on the basic national conditions, relying on the industrial base, according to market-led, innovation-driven, the key breakthroughs, leading the development requirements, advancing with a combination of political research, intensify policy support and create a favorable environment for development, and strive to improve the technological innovation capability of equipment manufacturing industry, have become a key initiative measures to speed up the adjustment of industrial structure, promote industrial restructuring, and achieve Intelligent Manufacturing, Chinese Manufacturing 2025.Combined with the characteristics of the equipment manufacturing industry, based on the existing collaborative innovation model, this paper constructed the concept model of collaborative innovation system in equipment manufacturing industry composed by governments, businesses, users, universities, research institutes, intermediary service institutions and science and technology financial institutions, and then in-depth analysed the mechanism of equipment manufacturers and the other 7 components. Based on conceptual model, Appliing system dynamics method, the paper constructed the dynamic model of the collaborative innovation system of equipment manufacturing industry, then used the dynamic model to simulate experiments. According to the simulation results, this paper put forward 6 countermeasures from the perspective of businesses and government.From the perspective of synergy, this paper research equipment manufacturing industry innovation system for clarifying the composition and mechanism, analysing effect of different system factors on innovation ability of equipment manufacturing industry. This study can accelerate China’s equipment manufacturing industry collaborative innovation system construction, and has theoretical and practical significance to activate industrial innovation vitality, to achieve the transformation and upgrading of equipment manufacturing industry in China.
