Since 1990, with the widely application of the Internet information technology, Internet based network economy in our country in recent ten years has made rapid growth and development, emerging a large number of online retail enterprises represented by Taobao, Dangdang. Now, more and more people begin to prefer online shopping rather than going to the entity shops. Internet information technology with its unique convenience is changing the survival of many traditional industries----their original patterns as well as their living environment. What is most affected is undoubtedly the traditional retail enterprise inseparable from people’s daily life. Under such pressure, many retail enterprises are also changing the traditional idea of management and organizational structure, and this way of updating and adjusting, in the final analysis, means improvement and innovation of business model. In this context, the study of retail enterprise business model has caught the attention of more and more scholars both at home and abroad, a lot of whom have gradually realized that it is not enough for retail enterprises to develop by leaps and bounds only by relying on the products, service and technology innovation. It should be achieved through the innovation of business model. Therefore, faced with the impact of e-commerce business, it must be the essential question for the traditional retail enterprises to face and settle how to develop a unique and effective business model by overcoming challenges and seizing opportunities and how to win a victory under the severe competition in the market.This paper, based on the related theories of domestic and international business model research, takes Jiabei supermarket as the case for the design of specific solutions to its business model innovation through the analysis of the e-commerce impact on the elements of Jiabei business model as well as the status quo. The paper adopts literature review, comparative analysis, charts, the method of theory with practice. It consists of six parts, the first one is the introduction, the premise and theoretical basis. This part states the research background and significance, the main method and idea of research both at home and abroad. The second part analyze the influence of the e-commerce business model on the retail enterprises. The third part is the analysis on the business model of Jiabei supermarket including its status quo, the current problems and the restricting factors of the innovation. This part is the bedding for the forth part, the scheme design for the business model. The fifth part proposes safeguard measures for the business model innovation. The last part is the summary, including the research conclusion, the insufficiency and the summary. The design for Jiabei supermarket in this paper not only adjusts to its current business strategy, and has a strong practical and guiding meaning for its innovation, but also it has reference significance for other retail enterprises of our country.
