Research On Supply Chain Risk Early Warning Model Of B2C E-commerce Enterprises

Abstract:With the rapid development of computer and information technology,electronic commerce has shown significant influence. B2C electronic commerce,short for Business to Customer, means Enterprise to Customers and includes allkinds of trade activities through the Internet, or online shopping in brief. Inrecent years, B2C e-commerce market in China is expending. The increasingnumber of B2C e-commerce enterprises stimulates the fiercer competitionbetween enterprises in terms of product category, distribution advantage andprice war. No matter what kind of the competition, the key is the competition ofsupply chain in the final analysis. However, B2C e-commerce enterprises in thesupply chain face a huge risk because of such factors as the complex andchangeable organization structure and unpredictable network environment in theactual operation. Also, this is owing to the fact that the management pays muchattention to benefit not risk. Besides, the government and enterprises mainlyfocus on relevant control measures after risks and neglect the functions of thesupply chain early warning model, namely, monitoring and pre-controlling ofthe risks. This thesis is based on the supply chain risk of B2C e-commerceenterprise and makes a research on the supply chain risk early warning model.This is of great significance in preventing and mitigating supply chain riskseffectively and realizing the healthy development of B2C e-commerceenterprise.This thesis describes the status quo of B2C electronic commerce enterprisesupply chain risk management and early warning on the basis of analysis ofB2C e-commerce enterprise supply chain and its risks by referring to relevantliteratures and conducting field researches and points out the necessity ofresearch on early warning model of supply chain risk. In the research on supplychain risk early warning model, the first thing is to build a scientific and reasonable supply chain risk early-warning index system. This thesis fullyanalyzes the risk factors influence the B2C e-commerce enterprise supply chain,including external risks, process risks and system risks, and then establishes theindex system of B2C e-commerce enterprise supply chain risk early warning bythe use of the screening method of the factor analysis.This thesis focuses on the construction and validation of supply chain riskearly warning model and constructs the supply chain risk early warning modelsof B2C e-commerce enterprise based on the index of B2C e-commerceenterprise supply chain risk early warning by using the rough set theory and thefuzzy comprehensive evaluation method. The models mainly include the earlywarning information system, the determination of the early warning limits,alarm system and remove alarm system. Further, JD is taken as an example toverify the supply chain risk early warning model, which shows the coincidenceof the early warning results with the actual situation of JD. This proves thatearly warning model is scientific and effective. Finally, this thesis suggests thattwo aspects should be adopted to ensure the smooth implementation of the earlywarning model from macroscopic and microscopic perspectives.The innovation of this thesis lies in: first, the research object is special.B2C e-commerce enterprises a special form of enterprise. Based on this, thethesis conducts a research on the supply chain risk, which is a new trialcompared with previous supply chain researches whose core lies in themanufacturing industry. Secondly, the research perspective is novel. In thisthesis, a B2C e-commerce enterprise supply chain risk early warning model isestablished. This model deepens the existing theories of supply chain riskmanagement through such a series of sequences as the detection of the earlywarning model, the perception of the risks and the sending of early warningsignals. Finally, the design of early warning index system is fresh. Based on thetraditional retail supply chain risk index system, the thesis adds the supply chainrisk factors caused by a new network platform, and focuses on the risks in logistics distribution. The early warning index system is more comprehensiveand more pioneering.
