| The world economic environment keeps becoming complex and the social network that current enterprises embed in shows the characters which is transverse and longitudinal intertwined. More and more enterprises and individuals realize that it becomes not possible to get advantage only by accumulating new knowledge and innovation which is based on the resources that they have. The competition between enterprises is not the simple competition between enterprises, it has becomes a kind of atmosphere in which enterprises pursue the nearest contact with knowledge resource and other initial resources through embed in different kind of social network which contain both competition and cooperation. Therefore, industrial cluster becomes one of the most network environments for enterprises to operate. In the cluster context, the enterprises are linked to huge sharing knowledge base and more innovation chances, which mean that the enterprises can get enough space to innovate, develop and apply the knowledge. This helps the enterprises to get out of the dilemma that analyzes the knowledge from the point of static resources. The flow of knowledge in the cluster network becomes one of the most important dynamics which helps the industrial cluster bring its superiority into full play. Knowledge resources has becomes more and more important in the cluster’s innovation activity. Therefore, the knowledge spillover effects in an industrial cluster network become a primary influence factor of enterprises’innovation activities and innovation performance.According to current study of the knowledge spillover effect in an industrial cluster, there are lots of studies which analyze these two subjects respectively and it lacks of the joint study. It seems that the reason might be both of them contain a large-scale content separately. Based on this context, this paper focus on the following questions and study them through collecting and analyzing current literature.(1) Who plays the fundamental role between the relationship of industrial cluster and knowledge spillover, and how their relationship to be showed.(2) There are many ways of classifying knowledge spillover, and what is the basic point of views to classify it, the knowledge property or the channel property.(3) Why the knowledge spillover is always active in industrial cluster, and what are the primary influence elements from the point of different participators.(4) The knowledge spillover effect is a double-edged sword, what are the concrete expressions at different lays.(5) What are the differences between the study of Chinese context and foreign context?The researches shows that,(1) There is interaction between industrial cluster and knowledge spillover, they get development rely on each other. The industrial cluster provides soil to knowledge spillover, and the knowledge spillover provide dynamic to promote the development of cluster’s scale and the deepness of cluster’s hierarchy.(2)The classification of knowledge spillover is complex, and it is difficult to divide the two points of view completely. Knowledge property tend to decide the channel, therefore, the classification of knowledge tend to rely on both knowledge property and channel property.(3) The management support and organization’s trust are two primary influence elements of knowledge that comes from the knowledge offers, and the effects of knowledge stock and knowledge relevance tend to show their roles in the point of knowledge receivers.(4) There are both positive negative effects of knowledge on different lays, and there also exists an optimum level of knowledge spillover to maximum the positive effects of knowledge spillover.(5) There are different characteristics in Chinese context, the channel property of knowledge, vertical point of network theory, the dynamic role of knowledge offers and the pursuit of optimum level of knowledge spillover can be some focuses of future study of knowledge spillover in Chinese. |
