Research On County Consumption Level Disparities Change Of Time And Space And Its Influencing Factors Of Guangxi From 2004 To 2013

To a county, consumption level regional disparity of different counties shows unbalance due to the diversity of economic base, income level, consumption policies, transport accessibility, cultural background,consumption habits and consumption psychology, etc. For the regions that the social and economic develop in a low level, the main factors that influence the level of consumption are the economic development level and income level. Because the economic development level is the fundamental factor affect consumption, and income level is the basis and prerequisite.Though Guangxi as an ethnic minority area that near the border and coastal, along the river, its social and economic develop in a low level. Its per capital GDP, per Capital industrial production,per capital annual disposable income of urban households, annual per capital net income of rural residents, per capital wages of urban working staff, etc, are all below the average of the national. By the development strategy of Guangxi’s “two economic areas and one belt” had been established. The Beibu Gulf economic zone has become one of the fastest growing and the most dynamic regions in China; The Xijiang river economic belt’s economic has become rapidly activity, a new belt with economic growth is forming; The resource-rich area of western Guangxi has speed up to develop its advantage resources, and promising to transform resource advantage into industry advantage. In this context, to analyze the regional disparity and its causes of county consumption level in Guangxi, it have important significance to promote the development of county economy, to targeted to take effective measures to reduce the consumption level of the regional disparity, to improve people’s quality of life, to promote the coordination and the sustainable development of the regional.Taking 85 counties of Guangxi as the research objects, using the Standard Deviation, Range, Coefficient of Variation, Theil index, Nich and other quantitative analysis methods, and using EXCEL to calculation the data, from the perspective of time and space change to analysis the variation characteristics and causes of the county consumption level regional disparities of Guangxi,the conclusions are as follows:(1) From the time dimension,from 2004 to 2013,the absolute disparity of county consumption level was very big and expanded rapidly, the relative disparity was narrow at first and then grow up with fluctuation; The county consumption level disparity between the three belts in Guangxi and its contribution to total disparity were relatively small, and they have showed the characteristics of rising with fluctuation; Inter-regional disparity of county consumption level and its contribution to total disparity were relatively big, but Inter-regional disparity was reduce at first and then increase with fluctuation while its contribution was decrease with fluctuation; In the interior of the three belts in Guangxi, the Xijiang river economic belt’s county consumption level disparity was minimum, and the resource-rich area of western Guangxi’s was biggest, meanwhile, there were quite a few differences between the Xijiang river economic belt and the resource-rich area of western of their contribution to total disparity in county consumption level, and were greater than the Beibu Gulf economic zone.(2) From the spatial dimension, the counties level of consumption in Guangxi were generally low, and those counties were mainly distributed in the resource-rich area of western Guangxi and in the north and central of Xijiang river economic belt; The counties that it was the border or industry or the municipal government located in were greater than other counties in the consumption level. The Beibu Gulf economic zone and the Xijiang economic belt promoted faster in the development level of the county consumption level, but the counties of the resource-rich area of western Guangxi were significantly lower. The disparity of the development speed in county consumption level was larger, the rapid growth of consumption level of the counties were dotted. The county overall in level of consumption growth was slower, the counties which consumption level growth was greater than the average level distributed in block.(3) The main influence factors to the regional differences of Guangxi in county level of consumption were GDP, tertiary industry output value, per capita output and urbanization rate. Because there were difference in development history,basic conditions, location conditions, industrial development level, the level of productivity development, urbanization level, etc in different area or county, so their affect the change characteristics of the county consumption level disparity of time and space.
