With the establishment of "the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Chan ge" and the "Kyoto Protocol", low-carbon economy has begun to attract attention of the whol e society, low-carbon lifestyle has become an integral part of human life. Our understanding attitude toward low-carbon economy also starts to change. Our country actively involves in t he events responding to global warming and takes responsibility. Government leaders take c oncrete actions to prove China’s determination to develop low-carbon economy. They publicl y committed in the word that the carbon dioxide intensity per unit of GDP of China in 2020 would reduce 40% -50% than that in 2005, which makes China’s low-carbon economy beco me a hot topic at home and abroad. However, it is a heavy blow for those manufacturers with poor environmental awareness, whose development has been somewhat hampered. If those manufacturers want to continue to survive, they must change their management model. Low-carbon supply chain management is a necessary means of today’s enterprise development. A nd the selection of source suppliers of low-carbon supply chain plays a very important role i n the entire supply chain. Relevant Information showed that 81 percent of carbon emissions came from all levels of suppliers, and carbon emissions produced by the enterprise itself was only about 19%. So that the carbon supplier selection is correct or not directly affects the car bon emissions and economic benefits throughout the supply chain.This paper is based on the connotation of low-carbon supply chain. Firstly, it reviews the 1 iterature at home and abroad, understands the current situation and the shortcoming of resear ch on evaluation and selection of low-carbon suppliers. Secondly, it introduces low-carbon s uppliers theories, including the history of development of low-carbon economy, the definitio n and characteristics of low carbon supply chain as well as the importance of selecting low-c arbon suppliers, discusses basic carbon supplier selection process and establishes evaluation index system. Then, it proposes the methods to evaluate low-carbon suppliers, mainly in thre e aspects:(1) In the fuzzy demand, considering a multi-product, it establishes a multi-produc t intuitionistic fuzzy TOPSIS evaluation model, invites a group of experts to assess each indi cator grade by linguistic variables, obtains integrated product value provided by different sup pliers, which is the value. (2) In the fuzzy demand, considering the determine number of unit carbon emissions, and regards the above value as one of objective function, it builds a fuzzy multi-objective programming model regarding cost, value and carbon emissions as the objec tive function, and uses maximum-minimum weight method to solve optimum order quantity . (3) considering the demand and carbon emissions units are interval numbers, the same as th e one above, the value of the objective function is constructed with cost, value and carbon e missions as the objective function range multi-objective programming model and solving the most optimal order quantity range. Finally, the three values of these three cases to verify the validity of the correct model. This paper takes the combination of qualitative and quantitativ e methods to provide a reference for decision-makers in the decision-making process.
