With the development of economy and society, China’s industrialization and urbanization have beensignificantly improved.But relatively speaking, the level of urbanization is significantly behind inindustrialization.It has seriously hampered further improve the level of industrialization. Meanwhile,ninety eight percent compared with the rate of urbanization in developed countries, China’s urbanizationrate is only about50percent, but there is also the foreign population, including those temporarily residingin the city. If you follow the words of the household registration to statistics, China’s urbanization rate willbe lower. Therefore, China’s urbanization is still a long way to go. In recent years, China has adopted agovernment-led initiative, proactive strategy of urbanization, the demand for land resources in the countrycontinues to expand, have launched a large-scale land acquisition and resettlement activities, whichaccelerated the urbanization process in China to some extent, very large promote regional economicdevelopment, but it also led to many kinds of social contradictions and conflicts of interest, such asproperty disputes arising between the family members, the large-scale mass incidents and bloody conflict,these issues not only seriously affect the harmony and stability of society, but also on the normal socialorder, family life, relationships, ethics and other aspects have had a profound impact. So in recent years,these issues of general concern of the community, most people will be criticism directed at all levels ofgovernment and developers, the root of the land acquisition and resettlement issues arising simplyinterpreted as excessive government finances and the pursuit of land developers mad pursuit of profit.Activities related to land acquisition and resettlement actually extremely complex motives and conflicts ofinterest, if simply be attributed to the lack of moral issues or legal level, is clearly not objective andin-depth. In view of this, this paper attempts from large urban background, theory and empirical analysisusing a combination of, and strive to objectively and comprehensively reflect the land acquisition processinvolved in the relationship between the various entities, and their respective interest demands, and inorder to establish the analytical framework, objective and fair grasp and solve problems for our landacquisition to provide ideas and methods. This chapterintroduces the status quo of China’s urbanization, then from the land system and land acquisition systemlevel to analyze China’s urbanization process in land issues. Meanwhile, the chapter also from the land anddemolition and other aspects of the different nature of the different nature of the departure, examines theproblem of land acquisition and resettlement of income, so we can better understand our land issues andland systems.The fourth chapter is an analysis of the role of urbanization in various related subjects.
