Study On The Agricultural Land Use Spatio-temporal Change And Driving Factor’s In Rizhao City

Agricultural land is the most basic and important in the land use type, providing animportant material basis for human survival and development. Keep a certain quantity andquality of agricultural land, especially cultivated land, is the key work for food safety. Rizhao isone of the three important construction zones of Shandong Peninsula Blue Economic Zone,currently, Lunan port industrial zone is listed as a provincial comprehensive reform pilot. Underthis background of the development, Rizhao will speed up the industrialization and urbanizationprocess, which leads to the land demand increases, making the agricultural land concerted tonon-agricultural land, causing land redistribution between regions and industry. In this process,some problems will be showed, for example: the agricultural land decreased year by year, thequality of agricultural land degradation, the increasingly prominent contradiction between humanand land. Strengthen research on agricultural land use change, analyze the relationship betweenagricultural land use change rule and the various driving factors, this will be good for a rationaland efficient use of agricultural land, improving the quality of agricultural land, ensuring thesafety of food, which has great importance for the harmonious development of the region.This paper use quantitative and qualitative analysis method to research the agricultural landuse spatio-temporal change and driving factor’s in Rizhao City and its counties in2004-2012,based on sustainable development theory, agriculture location theory, economic behavior offarmers theory, land use efficiency theory, comparative advantage theory. In addition, combinedwith the actual situation of Rizhao City and the research conclusions, this paper put forwardsome countermeasures and suggestions to guide sustainable utilization of agricultural land andprovide reference for Rizhao City and other areas.This paper has seven chapters, divided into three parts.Part1, chapter1,2,3, is the basic theories. This part analyzes the study progress on theagricultural land of domestic and foreign research, illustrates the related concept, and thenanalyses the natural, social and economic conditions and the present situation of land use aboutthe study area.Part2, chapter4.5.6, is the emphasis. This part researches agricultural land use change inthe conditions of time and space, the effects of driving mechanisms and main driving factors ofagricultural land in Rizhao City in2004-2012, come up with strategies of sustainable use ofagricultural land.. Through the above research, we can conclude that the area change ofcultivated land and forest land is the main factors in promoting the changes in the total area of agricultural land. Population growth, social and economic development level, agriculturalscience and technology progress, national policy and the level of urbanization is the main causeof agricultural land use change in Rizhao City.Part3, chapter7, is the conclusions and outlook. This part summarizes the conclusion ofthe whole research, generalizes the characteristics and shortcomings of this paper, look forwardto provide ideas for future research.
