Nowadays, rapid development of pharmaceutical industry in China, internalcompetition is becoming increasingly fierce within medicine retail industry. The newmedical reform policy being carried out and the continuous improvement of themedical insurance system. The crowd enjoyed health insurance continue to expand, aswell as further amplification of medical reimbursement scope, pharmaceutical retailchain enterprises face the increasing pressure on the operation. Traditionally, thepharmaceutical retail enterprise in the management of the expansion of space is verysmall, but with little success. In contrast, innovation of logistics management andimprove the implementation have a very large space can be tapped.Pharmaceutical retail enterprises have realized that to enhance the management levelof enterprises especially the importance of logistics management level. Logisticsmanagement has become an important part of management. But in China, thepharmaceutical retail enterprise in logistics management level is relatively backward,and the costs of management and operation are high.In all of the logistics costs, Procurement of drugs, warehousing and distributioncosts account for a considerable proportion of the total cost. Establish modernlogistics system of pharmaceutical retail enterprises, effective control to reducelogistics costs, improve logistics efficiency, the third source of profit creation hasbecome one of the effective means to ensure the sustainable and stable developmentof China’s pharmaceutical retail chain enterprises.In this paper, according to one of the top100pharmaceutical sales in ChinaBeijing, a pharmaceutical retail enterprise (hereinafter referred to as A company) ofdevelopment and transformation of the logistics business model as an example,combining the current situation of logistics operation of China’s small andmedium-sized pharmaceutical pharmacy, elaborate logistics costs control and improvethe efficiency of logistics related approaches and methods of operation.
