During the operation of Wireless Sensor Network(WSN), the sensor nodes need to constantly perceive the data in the surrounding environment and send them to sink nodes. This process is known as data collection, which is one of the key technology in the sensor networks. For effective data collection, researchers propose to adopt mobile sink to overcome the problem of limited energy and "hot zone". In WSN with mobile sink, the movement patterns and path planning of sink have a great impact on the efficiency of data collection and performance of overall networks. Therefore, it is great significant to design an effective mobile sink movement strategy for collecting data to improve network flexibility, shorten traversal cycle and reduce the delay of data collection.Considering the communication range and the probability of data overflow of sensor nodes, under the assumption of modeling the mobile sink path design as TSPN problem with probability data collection area, we propose a single mobile sink strategy, named as SMS-DO, which can find an more better optimized TSPN tour on the basis of reasonable setting the sojourn position. The SMS-DO can reduce the probability of data overflow, prolongs the life cycle of networks and improve the whole network performance. In small-size WSN, all data collection work can be completed by one mobile sink. However, a large number of practice has proved that the structure of single mobile sink cause a great data collection delay when network scale become bigger. Besides, the data overflow probability of nodes with large amount of data also become higher. In order to collect data more efficiently and reduce data overflowing probability, we adopt multi-sink architecture in large-scale WSN, to transform the mobile sink tour into m-TSPN with time windows. Two mobile strategy, MSMS-RD based on zone division and MSMS-CM based on cooperative movement is proposed to increase the sum of data and efficiently constraint the data overflow probability.
