The demand of modern communication technology of wireless communication technology is higher and higher.Based on this, lightweight, miniaturization, coplanar, low profile antenna’s demand is increasing, because of a microstrip antenna has these characteristics,its application is more and more widely, but at the same time its performance requirements also gradually improve, not only to apply traditional general design requirement of the antenna, to be more like, easy to manufacture, the characteristics of high gain, direction control, therefore, in this paper, based on the study of the microstrip antenna,a 2 x 2 micro electric phased array antenna of four units has been proposed, and design the corresponding analog phase shifter, power splitters, and digital control circuit, phase controlled to achieve its purpose. In this paper, the main work has the following: 1. Based on introducing the characteristic of microstrip antenna, the influence of various parameters on the performance of microstrip antenna is analyzed, based on this a 2 x 2 microstrip phased array antenna array has been designed, and using HFSS software for simulation and optimization. 2. The varactor is used to design and simulation of a reflex simulation phase shifter, its design process is given in detail in this paper, the center frequency 2.4 GHz, phase shifter of phase shift can reach 230 degrees, comply with the design requirements, through the simulation software simulation, simulate the change of the insertion loss of phase shifter was stable, Positive transfer coefficient change is less than 0.3 db standard, reached the design requirements. 3. Based on 51 single chip microcomputer as the core control components, realize the control circuit of phase shifter, by changing the two road digital quantity to change the output voltage of the circuit, through the integrated operational amplifier, output the required voltage,and to achieve the purpose of control phase. 4. Finally, analyze the results of each part to the design of, dvances the whole design of the antenna of the deficiency, and outlook for future work.
