Study on scattering characteristics by targets is of great significance to stealth, antistealth and radar target recognition. To obtain precise numerical solutions of scattering by electrically large and complicated targets effectively, one must reconstruct the 3-D model, and the accuracy of which will impact on the numerical computation. Considering the practical requirement of FETI-BI-MLFMA, accurate modelling method of typical and complicated targets is investigated based on CATIA software, a new mesh generation procedure is proposed, and decision index for mesh quality is provided. Numerical experiments show that FETI-BI-MLFMA is a powerful tool for analyzing scattering characteristics by targets with complex medium and electrically large size. In the meantime, numerical results provide guidelines for low RCS design of aircrafts. |
