With the development of economy and technology, people’s demand to the spatial data is increasing. At the same time, the spatial data is rapidly changing. In order to improve the repeated use of the spatial data rate, speed up the spatial database update process, reduce the data resources of the cost, the spatial data from in cross sectoral, cross regional scale data analysis and integration. For the work of the integration of spatial data is the geographic data matching in different periods. In spatial data map matching, the matching entities with the same name as one of the important technology in the match. Whether domestic or foreign, in identical entity matching technology research, especially geometric matching have been relatively more achievements in the research and application, especially point entity matching and entity matching is more mature. But existing homologous surface geometry matching method largely resolved one to one matching and relative displacement is not obvious, when the non one to match a, relatively large offset or matching of large amount of data, reduces calculation efficiency. At present, some GIS software with the same name face entity matching function module, the key is that most of these modules need to be involved, resulting in a large workload of staff, relatively low degree of automation. Therefore, it is of practical significance to develop an efficient and automatic matching detection system of the same name to improve the working efficiency of geographic data matching.This paper analyzes the geographical data in front of the solid geometry characteristic, proposed to improve the surface of an entity with the same geometric matching method, the research is mainly focused on the surface with the same entity geometric matching technology, aiming at the deficiency of existing method, using overlapping degree and improvement to the projection algorithm is proposed for entities matching task and improves the precision of geometric matching, but also reduce the workload of late semantic matching, finally the algorithm is applied to the surface with the same entity monitoring system, realize the entities matching with the same task. The main work is as follows:1. The characteristics of spatial data are analyzed, especially for vector spatial data has carried on the detailed study, three types of the dot, line, surface data matching difficult reasons are discussed in this paper, and the matching analysis and research of data consistency before pretreatment of map matching process and the corresponding surface entities matching process and results are analyzed.2. To the point, line, face three kinds of surface geometry entity elements matching process in-depth research, mainly aimed at the deficiency of existing geometric matching technology: a one-to-one match difficult problem and the problem of large surface relative offset between entities, put forward the improvement to the projection matching algorithm and the overlap degree of the matching methods of combining with the actual data on the experimental verification, the results show that the improved algorithm is compared with the traditional entity matching in the matching efficiency and precision has obvious enhancement, and reduce the workload of semantic matching.3. Designed and developed the surface with the same entity monitoring system, using the ArcGIS Engine platform and VS2010, solid geometry of the improved surface matching method is applied to the system, realizes the different periods of the same object map data import matching system, in order to make the matching process as far as possible to reduce human intervention, so the system default setting threshold, the surface entity after the completion of match results carried out a statistical analysis on the system interface. The lower the coupling system according to the principle of software development, causes this system can be individually surface entities matching production application, also can be used as a subsystem of integration and integrated into the project team in the whole system.
