The paper summarizes the current research status in the field of manufacturing, Based on the basic theory of reverse engineering and application field, Analysis the 3 d reconstruction of complex surface mold process and key techniques.According to the present situation and the development of the domestic existing mold management, Based on the aspects of management requirements, data structure design and function module, set up complete mould management system. The main work of this paper is as follows:1This paper discusses the mix design process of the reverse engineering design and forward design which usesthe generalthree coordinate measuring machine to scan complex curved surface mold, discusses the measuring method. Analysis the advantages and disadvantages of centralized approach, according to the topology and geometry of the surface, explore the best measurement planningof the surface, under the precondition of ensuring the normal surface measurement, improve efficiency and accuracy of the scanning measurement, reducing the scan error data points, to reduce the error.2 Discussing the way of the reverse engineering data processing method: the concept and principle of data formatconversion and compensation, noise elimination, data multi view registration, data refinement, to deal with complex curved surface mould as an example that the best point cloud processing method.3The basic principle and method of surface reconstruction is studied, and the surface reconstruction is convenient and fast by using the boundary line as the constraint.4 make full use of the advantages of varioussoftwares, solved the deficiency of lack of modeling that reverse software and thepoint cloud processing deficiency of 3D CAD software, optimize the product development process, improve the product research and development ability, and effective design methods are put forward in combination with the relevant theory and research.5Combinate the actual situation of the enterprise, the mold management system to do a detailed needs analysis, constructs the framework of the function of the system, and the information management mold, warehousing registration and management, scrap management, a database of single output and main function modules of the design has carried on the detailed analysis. The design of the whole system operation flow chart and information flow diagram.6The mold management system realize the key technologies of a structure query language programming technology, excel output technology, and analyzes the application of several key techniques in the system development process.7using C / S model of system development, with Microsoft Visual as a client interface development tools, Microsoft Excel as the background data support, complete tooling management system interface design and function module design and development.by analyzing of the model error to test and operate the management system, in the end, the model built by this method and the development of the management system conforms to the actual demand, in this paper, the theory and methods used in the actual projecteffectively solves the engineering problems, has acertain theoretical and engineering significance.
