It is a question worth considering and exploring that how new media could perform its duty to disseminate information properly and to lead public opinion in the right direction.According to the investigation media micro-blog, this thesis analyzed 832 reviews on online hot topics, aiming to find out how to take the advantages of micro-blog to develop cross-strait communication in a positive way.Thesis layout is listed as follows:Chapter one:the introduction discusses the background the purpose of the study. Also included is the research progress of "cross-strait dissemination" and "hot topics on micro-blog" on micro-and macro-scales. The gap and novelties were presented thereof.Chapter two:hot topics on micro-blog and the interpretation of media micro-blog were reviewed in details. This part also explained the formation of the aforementioned subjects, respectively.Chapter three:this part summarizes the characteristics of cross-strait communication development under different media context based on time and change of the communication media, which lays a foundation for the investigation into the role played by media micro-blog in cross-strait communication.Chapter four:this section studies the micro-blog hot topic:people from mainland China can not afford a tea egg. For one thing, vertical analysis was performed on the dissemination state of the hot topic on micro-blog during the four stages:origin> propagation fermentation、recession. For another, the incubation period of public opinion, the convening period of public opinion、the degradation period of public opinionChapter five:this part case-studies the 832 reviews on the topic of "tea egg". The influence of media micro-blogs were classified into several categories:restoration of the topic-foundation laying and follow-up of the topic-fermentation and logical analysation of the topic-stimulation of the topic-prolong the period of hot topic, investigate the role media micro-blog plays in leading online opinion in depth.Chapter six:this part summarize the insufficiency of the media micro-blog in leading cross-strait public opinion. Corresponding solutions were given to perfect the media micro-blog, aiming to help media micro-blog target topics more effectively and to develop the cross-strait public opinion communication in a positive way. In this regard, good ground could be laid for the harmonious development on both sides of the strait.
