In the archery game, artificial target-reporting is mostly common in the match, training and entertainment venues. This method is difficult to statistic data and lack of real-time analysis. Yet this method is so slow and inefficient to meet requirements of real-time and entertaining, which is not conducive to promoting the archery game. Existing automatic target-reporting technologies, locating arrow positions with optical or ultrasound signals, are complex in algorithm, difficulty in installation and poor in mobility, resulting in a less application. Therefore, this paper proposed an automatic target-report system for the archery game that can realize real-time inquiring and analyzing scores in a mobile intelligent terminal, based on mobile streaming media technology, cloud storage technology and efficient image processing algorithms.This project researched the mobile streaming media technology. Network cameras were used to record videos which were uploaded to the cloud cache using cloud storage technology and transmitted by wireless way. The videos were downloaded to the intelligent terminals via real-time receiving and decoding technology of streaming media. According to the characteristics of intelligent terminal image processing, this paper simplified image processing algorithms such as the hough transform, geometric correction, target detection. The ring areas of the target and position of the arrow were recognized real-time. The video receiving and image processing were at the same time by the multithreading technology. The distribution of arrows was analyzed by the data stored in the local database, which can provide data for the broadcast and training. The data could be forecasted by this method of curve fitting with least square method. Finally, the application software was tested practically in the intelligent terminal. The software works stable and all functions including automatic target-reporting, data analysis, forecasting and sharing are all realized. The recognition accuracy reaches 99.9% and the response time can meet the requirements of automatically target-reporting for the archery game.This paper introduces the first automatic target-report and data analysis system in intelligent terminals for the archery game inland. It has advantages of easy installation and usage, and could help archery athletes to improve their training level. Besides, the system can be combined with the broadcast platform to popularize the archery game by improving people’s sense of participation and entertainment of itself.
