In modern radio communication systems, radar systems and satellite navigation and communication systems, since the rapid development of software radio technology, Current ADC(analog to digital converter) can be collected directly on the intermediate frequency signal to obtain a digitized IF signal. Digitized IF signal through quadrature downconversion generate high-speed baseband IQ data. In the process of developing these communication systems, the need for software test data for quantitative analysis. Hence the need for a high-speed data transmission system to transmit real-time data to a data processor. At the same time, high speed data transmission system can also play back the stored test data.This paper mainly about the PCIe bus and fiber optic communication system circuit module which consists of SFP optical communication module and Aurora IP core, perform the following tasks:(1) According to the project target, design high-speed IQ data transmission system of the overall program.(2) According to high-speed IQ data transmission system of the overall program for fiber-optic communication system’s design targets requirements, first of all, the protocol layer of the optical fiber communication system working principle is analyzed layer-by-layer; Then,according to the requirements of the optical fiber communication system protocol, design the SFP optical communication module whose data transfer rate is adjustably from 125 Mbps to 3.125 Gbps; While, taking advantage of FPGA Aurora IP core implements fiber optic communication system protocol layers physical layer and the data link layer; Finally, design the frame data sending unit and the frame data receiving unit of the Aurora IP core’s user logic layer, and carry on functional simulation and analysis.(3) According to high-speed data transmission system IQ of the overall program for PCIe bus’ s design targets requirements, first of all, analyze PCIe bus protocol layers layer-by-layer.Secondly, calling the FPGA IP core resources,generate the PCIe2.0 protocol hardcore. Finally, design transmitting logic unit and receiving logic unit of the PCIe bus application layer.(4) Based on hardware circuit, first, optical fiber communication system modules BER test results meet the data transmission system’s requirements for bit error rate. Secondly, by grabbing data packets of application layer, test DMA(direct memorary access) to read and write of the PCIe bus, and test results show that the data transmission system to meet the data rate requirements. Finally, in the overall system test the maximum data rate of the data transmission system is up to 264 MBps, and it can be stable and reliable data transmission.
