With the rapid development of economy and technology, people’s living standard has gradually improved, but also the growing demand for energy saving, environmental protection has become striving direction in various fields. Thermos is indispensable tool in daily life, the thermal insulation properties is an important indicator of its quality, traditional thermal insulation properties detection methods require large amounts of energy, and has a low degree of automation. In order to replace the traditional detection methods, improve production efficiency and reduce energy consumption, we design a high-efficiency thermal insulation properties detection system on the basis of the MSP430 microcontroller.The modular design concept is used in the hardware design, it mainly divided into five parts including control, power supply, temperature acquisition, wireless transmission and display. MSP430F2012, as the main core control chip, responsible for the controlling the operation of each module and data processing; The power supply adopts 3.6V lithium battery of high energy density; Using PT1000 platinum resistor as a sensor to measure the temperature of the thermos. Introducing the thermal-electrical analogy theory, the thermos liner heat transfer process is simplified to the circuit model, and we design an efficient thermos liner thermal insulation properties detection algorithm based on this. Software section uses IAR Embedded Workbench IDE development environment, and mainly introduces the initialization program and the software design of each functional module, including the thermos liner thermal insulation properties detection algorithm. On the basis of the hardware and software, we realize the detection of thermos liner thermal insulation properties.
