"PC+ motion controller" mode is proposed on windows operating system platform based on analysis of the characteristics and development of open CNC systems and the common motion control method. Then use LabVIEW as development tools and Galil DMC as lower position machine to designe open CNC motion platform. PC has extensive system software and faster data processing capabilities, which manages the NC program editing and human-machine interface. Galil DMC controller is a high-performance multi-axis motion controller with open architecture, and is responsible for feed linkage control of X,Y,Z axis, as well as linear and circular interpolation processing.The specific design of CNC system platform includes hardware design and software design. Hardware is based on three-tier structure. PC,as the highest level,function as interactive terminals. The middle is a motion control card, which is responsible for connecting communication between PC and the underlying actuator. The bottom, as the actuator, consists of a servo drive, servo motor, inverter, the spindle motor, ball screws etc.Software mainly defines each functional module of open CNC systems and many working status during operation of the processing, and design software architecture of the control system and block diagram of state transition. In order to achieve coordinated and rational allocation of software resources and improve real- time dynamic response of the system, thread mechanism is introduced into multi-tasking real-time allocation system.Set thread priority corresponding to different modules to improve real-time response of the system.At last analyse and design the information flow of the process.In the research of position servo motion control, propose CMAC+PID control algorithm using the principal of forward control based on detailed analysis with the conventional PID control algorithm in motion control.CMAC + PID control has better nonlinear approximation capability, and is suitable for complex real-time control with nonlinear dynamic environment, which has a small amount of computation, get fast convergence and has no local minimum point.In the study of the movement of the pulse feeding system stability control method, analyse reasons of affectting motion stability from the time doma in and frequency domain.To achieve smooth motion control of traditional numerical control pulse feeding system, find the optimal interpolation cycle. Then from the angle of changing interpolation cycle propose adaptive and random interpolation cycle to eliminate periodic frequency superposition Thereby increasing the pulse feeding system the motion smoothness.
