In recent years, with the development of information technology, Business Process Management (BPM) has become the core of enterprise operation. At present, the BPM research mainly focus on system frame, process management, process model and so on. In BPM system modeling, because the system scale is relatively large and structure is complicated, the establishment of a process model which can reflect the system running characteristics in the enterprise application and theory research has the important meaning.Petri net is a kind of modeling language. It takes the visible graphic description, and is supported by formalized mathematical method. Petri net can express the static structure and the dynamic change in the discrete event dynamic system that is used to analyze static and dynamic problems of the business process. But there are many problems such as too large scale of the model and lack of mathematical methods to analyze system performance in Petri net model. Object-oriented Petri nets with modularization, message transfer and other characteristics, is suitable for large scale system modeling. Therefore, by using the object-oriented Petri net modeling technology to design BPM system, complex BPM system is divided into several functional subsystems, which reduces the complexity of constructing BPM system.In order to meet the requirement of process variance for BPM system when it faces the changes outside, combining with rule library, the BPM model which supports the variable running process is built, and the simulation analysis results of this model shows that the related characteristics of BPM system model and gives a consultation for enterprises to develop the BPM system and BPM theory.As the new direction of information system development, BPM system will produce important influence on realization of the virtual enterprise. BPM system is applied to the virtual enterprise and virtual enterprise process model is established based on BPM system. The analysis method based on stochastic colored Petri net(SCPN) is also presented which can be used to model and analyzes the process model in order to obtain the system performance analysis data. This model extends the application area of BPM system and provides a reference for the construction and management of virtual enterprise.
