The X-ray angle sorter is an important equipment in the area of incision and process of crystal now. Based on the Prague equation and by use of the X-ray, the equipment is an exact equipment to analyze the crystal.In order to improve the measurement accuracy of the crystal chip, it is necessary to detect the crystal by using the Omega rotation measurement method. As in the actual development process we often use the method of combing low precision encoder and high-speed data acquisition system, through the data interpolation to get the X-ray diffraction value of each angle and second, which requires highly stable turntable running. Hence, there is a certain theoretical and practical significance in designing and developing high precision turntable control system for angle sorter.This paper designs and develops a set of turntable control system on the basis of FPGA, achieving high precision speed control of the turntable. For the speed control of the turntable, adopting the vector control method, using incremental photoelectric encoder to feedback speed information, employing Holzer current sensor to collect phase current, this paper designs the hardware interface circuit which includes interface circuit of photoelectric encoder, the current collecting circuit, motor power and drive circuit, and develops the software module based on the method of modular design. At the same time, we also develop a speed monitoring software of PC terminal. Finally, this paper analyzes and studies the factors which influences the stability of the turntable, using sliding mode variable structure control strategy to control the turntable speed, and through matlab/Simulink simulation it is proved that the controller is in accord with the design requirements of the system.The main work of this paper includes:the design of software and hardware of speed control system of turntable, the desigh of monitoring software of turntable PC, the research on control algorithm of speed turntable.
