Design And Implementation Of The Budget Estimate System For Metallurgical Design Industry

After many years of development for metallurgical design industry, many units have transformed from the traditional design enterprises into the general contracting project company integrating design, procurement and construction, but the project’s budget estimate is still generated in the manner of the designer’s manual EXCEL input and the unified summary by budgetary estimate personnel. In this way, it not only spends a lot of time and energy, the accuracy and normalization of data is not easy to guarantee.At present, the domestic design industry’s budget estimate system also stays at the initial stage, and more consideration is the standardization of encoding and its application, and it is not realistic for designer to remember thousands of estimates encoding. Most of the domestic budget software is only tools software for single user, and it is for the budget estimate personnel. In this paper, the present situation at home and abroad and the existing problems of the system are studied with integration of actuality of our company, and a general solution is put forward. It mainly researches the budget classification standards and naming standard suitable for the designer to use and solves such problems as project’s WBS adjustment, name standard, automatic price acquisition and so on during submission and report of budget estimate by the designer. It also provides the historical price reference function during the preparation of budge estimate by the designer. The system has applied the SOA technology and the intelligent identification code matching technology. After the actual application, it can replace the existing EXCEL manual input mode, and realizes the data standardization of the budgetary estimate of all the projects.The topic of this article comes from the metallurgical design industry, its significance lies in the establishment of budget estimate standard, which is suitable for enterprise’s own and the accumulation of historical data of project budget estimate with the application of budget estimate making software to provide the reference and data convenience for budget estimate of new project and to offer the original data and the practical conditions for the preparation of project equipment list and project fast quotation in the next step.
