Research Of Topology Management For Ad Hoc Network Of Mobile Swarming Platforms

The monitoring and management of Wireless Ad hoc Network for mobile swarming platforms is very important to the network and more complex than traditional computer networ. The monitoring of the network is used for collecting the operating status of the equipment, the connectivity of the network, the resource consumption, and other abnormal situation. The network management is used for maintaining of the parameters and adjusting the network status based on the monitoring information. As the basic information of the Wireless Ad hoc Network for mobile platforms, the constructing of the network topology will plays an important role in route searching, load controlling, and maintenance of the communication link.Whereas the communication link quality of the Wireless Ad hoc Network for mobile swarming platforms is probably instable due to the complex electromagnetic environment or the jamming and so on, an MPR CDS constructing algorithm based on communication link quality isdiscussed in this thesis. Content is as follows:1.The background of the subject and the significance of the thesis for the subject are introduced in chapter1.2.The overview and property of the Wireless Ad hoc Network for mobile swarming platforms are discussed in chapter2. Also the significance of the network topology controlling and some typical methods of network topology management are included.3. In chapter3 the graph theory related to CDS and some universal algorithm of network topology management based on CDS are discussed. Then the problems of the universal algorithm in the network topology management are presented, according to the application background of the the Wireless Ad hoc Network for mobile swarming platforms. Finally an MPR CDS constructing algorithm based on communication link quality isproposed. Also the verification and the contrast for main performance by simulation are included in this chapter.4.A method of cluster constructing which is based on above CDS and communication link quality is proposed, according to the application background of the the Wireless Ad hoc Network for mobile swarming platforms.
