Research And Realization Of Intrusion Detection System Based On Smartphone

Nowadays, smartphones are becoming more and more popular, and their functions are also increasingly stronger, while the traditional Internet fails to meet the real-time needs of people for the network. Except at home or office, people spend more time on the smartphones accessing to the mobile Internet. However, while people enjoy the convenience mobile Internet bringing to us, we also can not ignore its attendant security issues. Mobile phone virus appears one after another, which makes users suffer a lot. For example, as personal items, mobile phones contain so much personal privacy information that once get infected, the consequences would be disastrous. To this situation, this paper designs intrusion detection systems based on smartphone to improve the defense of the invasion of smartphone capabilities.As the second security gate following behind the firewall, intrusion detection has developed maturely in the traditional Internet field, but it has just begun in the field of mobile Internet research.This paper firstly analyzes the mobile Internet security issues, in which several of security issues Android smartphone facing is the most serious. Secondly, it introduces some knowledge of intrusion detection technology to lay the theoretical foundation for intrusion detection systems based on smartphone. Furthermore, for the key technology used in the system, it does a detailed research, including packet capture technique, pattern matching technique and protocol analysis technique. Taking the characteristics of mobile phones into account, the paper detects intrusion by combining pattern-matching technique and protocol analysis technique. Then add behavioral intrusion detection module to detect unknown attacks. Finally, the system has been implemented on the Android platform. The results show that intrusion detection system based on smartphone is capable of detecting intrusion timely and effectively, identifying the intrusion and alarming to the users. It can greatly improve the user experience.
