With mobile Internet developing,explosive mobile applications growing and new services, mobile communications network data traffic is growing demand for high speed.Communications industry in the history of human development, although not a new industry, but in recent years, high-tech communications to change the way communication is indeed evolve into a high-energy consumption industries. Proposed 3GPP LTE technology is a mobile communication system in order to meet the growing high-speed data services and system capacity requirements.The study revealed that the majority of wireless data services have taken place in an indoor environment. To solve this problem, Femto Forum and 3GPP LTE organizations was giving energy saving and interference coordination technology based on heterogeneous network of femtocells. There are many kinds of energy-saving policy, while data showed that the energy consumption of the entire mobile communications network equipment, the energy consumption of base station equipment accounted for 89%.This paper presents the main mode of heterogeneous cellular network, the high cost of energy consumption of the traditional macro base stations overlap deploy some low-power node, such as a home base station Femtocell is a pico base station, it appears to solve the macro base station coverage incomplete, and additional macro base station to bring enormous energy consumption problems.
