Research On The Evaluation Method Of Scientific Research Papers

In the massive search results when querying documents, we need to quickly find out the high impact literature, classic papers, authoritative papers, rather than simply determining authoritative papers by the so-called citations per article papers. This paper studies the main factors and related evaluation methods which are used to identify the use of authoritative papers. At first, this paper combines webpage scoring method and method for determining the degree of intimacy in social to preliminarily study the scoring method of classic papers, with giving a brief introduction and a comprehensive understanding of the PageRank algorithm and HITS algorithm, combining with social networking features we determinate to establish a score based on a reference network of relationships among papers. Then the paper focuses on the specific circumstances of each factor in the scoring model and analyzing this model’s basic demand, establishing a reasonable and effective essay scoring model based on the directed graph. This model differs from traditional simply considering the number of citing and cited papers evaluation system, pay attention to the papers referenced relationship and strengthen the time factor and authoritative papers’ influence. At last, according to a few tests based on the DBLP, we verify the reasonableness of this scoring model.
