The research purpose of this paper is to study the operating characteristics of the Official Micro-bloggers including the People’s Daily, Global Times and Southern Metropolis Daily. These three types of media are famous but keeping different positions in C hina. Through gathering the comments to the contents, this paper analyzes the emotions of the fans in order to find out whether there exists a special reaction mode when those media posted the same information or reported the same theme. The author intends to make sure whether there is a strong connection in moods between the fans’ comments and how critical the event is beyond the comments I collect.The paper consists of several parts. Firstly, it puts forward the meaning of studying the Official Micro-blogging and summarizes the development of the audience research. Then the paper does an analysis of the current situation of the Weibo and traditional media in C hina. What’s more, it collects the content and comments of the three media ’s official micro-blogging with the use of both quantitative and qualitative methods to find out the pattern and difference. At last, the paper makes a conclusion that the media ’s micro-blogging’ level of participation impacts the interactivity with the audience, and different official micro-blogging receives different level of mood even if they are reporting the same event with the same tongue. Besides, this study indicates that we can use the computer to analyze the fans’ comments to predict how serious the event is which will give a programmed way to monitor the public opinion..
