The paper focuses on active imaging night vision systems,proposes using laser range-gated technology to design the system of realizing imaging the target such as medium-sized cars far from 5 kilometers away.Systemetically addresses the low-light-level active gated imaging system’s basic structure,working principle,the design prosess,as well as performance.Laser range-gated technology uses infra-red laser as auxiliary lighting source to lighten the target,and synchronization control technology to achieve distance selected pass,which reduces the chance to be detected an effectively inhibits the backward scattering.And the design uses image intensifier to enhance the distance that can be detected.This paper is based on the laser range-gated technology,establishes the model of SNR and shows a way to calculate the distance that can be detected. According to the distance and the parameter of the system,the power and the light intensity can be calculated.This paper also designs the circuit of synchronization control based on the technology of FPGA as well as the supply voltage of the image intensifier.The rusults of this paper is similar contribute to the design of actual low-light-level products.
