Emc Design Research For Communication Equipment

The popular design method to EMC is a Design-Debug-Redesign iterative process. But time to market is a key fact for a product during research and development period, competitors possibly had sold the products all over the world when you are working on the EMC problems.Now, simulation has been introduced into EMC design at the beginning of design using powerful computer based on latest electromagnetic theory, guiding the product design based on simulation results. It will shorten product’s research and development time and save cost, so it’s a revolution for EMC design.Firstly, the heat sink is modeled and the improved ones are constructed too. With EM simulation, the improved four design solution results shows the one that the heat sink grounding and adding absorber is good to others without grounding and absorber design solution.Secondly, the SFP cage is modeled and the improved ones are constructed too. With EM simulation, the improved four design solution results shows the one that the SFP cage adding grounding pins is good to others without grounding and adding thickness design solution.Thirdly, the line is modeled and the improved ones are constructed too. With EM simulation, the improved four design solution results shows the one that adding shielding spring is good to with others bended with 90 degree design solution.Fourthly, the vent-hole EM characteristics are studied by constructed four different models(round hole, square hole square and honeycomb arrangement square array, six angle honeycomb arrangement). The simulation results show that the honeycomb with hexagon is the optimal scheme.Finally, the sample product with the above four optimized structures is manufactured, and the experiments results are shown in Chapter 5, which is almost in accordance with the simulation results.
