With the rapid development of computer technology,a large number of emerging computer-aided design softwares bring much benefit to designers of all engineering areas. The use of CAD technology leads to improvement in the design and production efficiency and creates huge economic interests for industrial enterprises.Equipment development requires AutoCAD to generate a lot of assembly and process drawings. It is possible that the function of AutoCAD can be customized by users according to their various demands. As the design could be adjusted according to the user’s opinion, the drawings will change with the requirements. Local changes lead to tedious modifications of drawing, especially for the design of non-standard equipment parts.To overcome this drawback and strengthen the CAD functions, the updated technology of AutoCAD drawings need to be developed to improve the using convenience and reduce the workload during the update process. Selecting the appropriate development tools can play a multiplier effect. In AutoCAD2006, a development tools named AutoLISP has been introduced, which is a special program language for the secondary development of AutoCAD. Visual LISP is a software development tool, which aims to accelerate the program development of AutoLISP, and is a complete integrated development environment.In this paper, all the program files are generated by Visual LISP editor with Auto LISP language. First, start with the establishment of the marked frame with the attribute block, which can strengthen the foundation of other work. The second step is to learn a relatively simple and practical command firstly and then gradually grasp and understand Auto LISP language. The third step is to analyze the steps and build flowcharts, which can sort out programming ideas easily. The fourth step is to program. The fifth step is the file summary and all program files are imported into AutoCAD drawing software.After all summarized codes being imported into startup file of AutoCAD drawing software, you can directly use the developed process as the software starts to work. The batch processing technology of the Drawings is mainly used in the development of non-standard automation equipment, and the focus is to simplify the commands which are cumbersome and high frequency used in the work. Additionally.With the engineering applications of drawings updated technology, the simplified streamline command, high efficiency of drawing and minor staff workload are got, which are welcomed by the majority of users.
