With the rapid development of technology, the electronic documents have slowly begun to replace the paper documents. Electronic documents are portable, easy to modify and store, which make more and more people like using them. More and more electronic documents are used in people’s daily life, but as the technology advancing quickly and the network begin to be popular, people long for the appearance of the network document, which can satisfy the demands of the document’s security, reliability, platform independence and so on. The PDF document is not only universal in the operating system of Windows, Unix, and the Mac OS developed by the Apple company, but also has a strong security, small files and etc, which make it an ideal document formation on the electronic document distribution and the dissemination of digital information. The Java programming language and J2 EE development framework can be used to develop the system. It can not only improve the system’s efficiency and portability, but also conducive to the post-maintenance system.On the basis of these, the thesis conducted the study of the electronic networked PDF document based on the J2 EE platform.This thesis elaborated the design and the development of the electronic networked PDF document based on the J2 EE platform. Firstly, the thesis introduced the electronic PDF document which has a well security and can meet the requirements of the mainstream through analyzing the drawbacks and shortages of the currently used electronic documents. Secondly, the thesis analyzed and sorted out the development and the application of the electronic document and the requirements of the electronic networked document as well in a deeper level and multiple perspectives. After these, the thesis refined the requirements combing the instance requirements of the electronic PDF documents in the professional titles evaluation system. Then the thesis introduced the design and development of the different types of the dynamic electronic PDF documents using WEB service and the ITEXT technique on the basis of the J2 EE platform in detail. The thesis emphasized the security of the document and the technology of the mass-produce progress of the static document. At last, the thesis chose the test method to test the performances and the functions of the system, especially the production of the different types of the PDF document.The method and the progress proposed in the thesis has already been used in the professional titles evaluation system. The operation effect of it in the year of 2014 indicated that the validity and the accuracy of the research achievements, especially the speed of the document production and the browsing, which reaches the expected targets and acts as a good reference to the design and the development of the other grid electronic documents.
