With more and more space dimensional measurement needs, traditional measurement methods cannot meet the needs of production, therefore, the three-dimensional editor has a great advantage in the environment that can be measured. In the case of ensuring the accuracy, to build a three-dimensional measurement environment, involving binocular stereo vision, eye fatigue problems, and three-dimensional modeling and other issues, the solution of these problems have more conducive to design three-dimensional measurement system, to provide related basis.The core content of this paper is directed to the pipeline, the pipeline modeling, the acquisition of the pipeline stereo pair and pipeline stereoscopic display. The main contents are: On the basis of analysis of human visual system, stereo viewing comfort and the accuracy of spatial orientation, more reasonable binocular stereo region which meet both of the theory of constraints and physiological limits were analyzed; On the basis of particular analysis of spatial entities projection imaging and basic stereo conversion and the three-dimensional features of pipeline, propose the methods of pipeline modeling and the smooth of pipe convergence, and using OpenGL API to achieve a three-dimensional projection transformation, pipe modeling, smooth handling of convergence at the pipeline and illumination of the pipeline model; On the basis of analysis of binocular stereo principle, by setting projection points around, and then get the stereo pair of pipeline model, and obtain its optimum ratio of “between the left and right projection center distance from the model” to “the vertical distance of the connection”, and conducted a study of subjective experiments of the ratio; To display the three-dimensional pipeline model by parallax stereoscopic display time-sharing, and made a semi Quantitative evaluation of the stereoscopic display effects by the quality of the disparity map.Through theoretical analysis, we get that: in the general working environment, a reasonable stereo area that is away from the computer screen 40 cm when using time-stereo display observed or stereo measurement work; herein pipeline dimensional measurement environment, can be effective to the construction of the pipeline and three-dimensional stereoscopic display,and it can be used as the prototype for future development work;subjective experiment about the best ratio of the distance between the center of projection and model to the vertical distance of its connection, semi-quantitative experimental results consistent with the subjective test, the parallax map quality and three-dimensional effect is proportional. Results of this study, it can provide reference and technical support to the parameters set for the hardware and software system developing of computer vision and three-dimensional measurement.
